AT BCS we spend a lot of time teaching children about how to get along in a group. Sometimes we forget how good it feels as an adult to be part of a community that shares. The holiday food bag effort has been a great way to pool our resources and come together to make sure we all have enough- in this case , enough to eat over the holiday break without Erinn’s excellent cooking. Planning the bags, buying the food, collecting the many donations that poured in, putting the bags together, and sending them home, all felt pretty good. Once again we’re all reminded of how sharing food ties us all together.
A big thank you to everyone who helped out by donating, packing, or eating the food!
